Bright and early (not very bright), we got up and walked from Domus Aurelia to St. Peter's. We had a 7:30a Mass appointment, so we got to watch the sun rise over Rome. Uhhhhmazing. My pictures are fuzzy because of the bad no-flash timing. Sorry!
We had Mass right in front of St. Peter's tomb - it was amazing. JP's tomb was right around the corner too.
After Mass, we went through some of the excavations beneath Rome, but my camera was dead so I have no documentation. When Olivia posts her pictures, I will steal them.
